Welcome to the Artimis Newsletter

Artimis is undergoing certain changes with the way we operate with Clients/Models & Promotional staff.
Firstly we have separated the company into Model & Promotions sections - this is purely due to regulations bought in over the last few years for Agencies.

Firstly you will need to decide whether you wish Artimis to represent you for Promotional [which include sampling/ leafleting/ hospitality etc.] And/or modelling assignments ' [which include fashion shows/ fittings/ photographic/ presentations/ TV Video etc.].

When you have decided what type of assignments you wish us to find for you, you will need to re-register in the sections accordingly. You can download the registration forms and terms and conditions for both here on the website then complete and sign all the relevant forms and return them to me ASAP.

Things will not change immensely and you shouldn't notice any difference, just more suitable work hopefully!

We hope you like our new web site! Clients old and new are being contacted to inform them of the changes and pointing them to the new site, lots of great marketing material is being sent out and we are also putting a Model Book-style Binder together for clients who still prefer the traditional way.

Promotional Work - Web site
As you will see we have a couple of pages specifically advertising staff available for this kind of work covering the whole of the UK and there is no charge to be included in this section - However as spaces are limited we will be alternating the staff visible and you will need to have supplied us with a professional suitable headshot photograph. Snapshots will NOT be acceptable.

Modelling - Web site
We have limited the number of models able to have pages on the new site as we want simply the best on there. We are working on a first come first served basis of booking spaces and already we are very limited. We will be covering ages from 16-75 across the UK all looks and styles to fulfil our clients' requirements.

Charges for the web site are £10 per month inclusive of VAT but - if you book 6 months we will give you 6 months FREE.

Model Cards
We mentioned previously that we are putting together a Model Book - style Binder and with the help of our photographer Stuart Randle we have come up with a great offer on flyers for you if you wish to be included. Flyers will need to be a specific size and style to be included and will need to follow the format of our marketing material and Stuart has put together a package that is very cost effective to you all.

Cost will be £75 for a full photo shoot and 50 model book flyers, or just £39 for the flyers if you already have the shots.

Test Shoots
If you need a test shoot, shots for the website or simply to freshen-up your portfolio, why not give Stuart, 01827 288091, a call and he can arrange the shoot for you.

Out size & Fitting Models
Our fitting sections and Client base has increased well, we now have regular requests for sizes 10,12,14,16 &qmp; 18 standard sizes also 10,12 & 14 petites. If you are interested in this area please contact Helen to obtain details of information and measurements we require from you.

News Page (Casting & Opportunities)
This has been a huge success for clients and models, especially as we now cover the whole of the UK for staff. The News page is updated regularly with assignments, castings and any ongoing requirements our clients may have. Each time the news page is updated we send an email to you all who are on our email database this enables you to keep up-to-date with any ongoing work that may be available in your area.

Credit Card Sales
We have been managing the Midland Sales team now working with The Rectangle group for 12 months. They have provided us with many assignments from sports events to new store openings and product launches. We are recruiting staff to join our teams for various financial sales promotions in the Midlands and surrounding areas. We are looking for highly motivated sales staff for these assignments; this will be ongoing flexible full/part-time work for various venues. In 2005 I decided not to actively represent under 16's.

Payments
A few people are still not sure of how and when payments will be made. We have one payment run at the end of each month. Payments are made by bank transfer at the end of the month, please see your individual contracts for more information on this.

As we now make all our payments electronically by bank transfer please ensure we have your correct and up-to-date full bank details.

Office Hours
From April 2006 our office hours are Monday - Thursday 9.30am - 3pm - Fridays we will be opening 9.30am - 12.30pm. Helen will be contactable on the mobile 07977 252308 if we are not in the office, as we have been spending time out and about with some of our clients. Stuart Randle
As we've mentioned above, we welcome Stuart Randle to Artimis as both our preferred photographer and publicity & model-development consultant. Stuart has been working as a model-agency photographer, including for Artimis of course, for many years. We're now delighted to add Stuart to the team in a wider capacity making fuller use of his talents and unrivalled experience in the Midlands industry.
